About Moaffak Ahmed
Serial entrepreneur and hands-on early stage investor with 25 years of marketing and business development experience in Europe, North America and Asia. I have created - and successfully executed - business and marketing strategies for rapidly growing high tech firms.
I am currently working with passionate entrepreneurs and researchers to translate innovative ideas to significant growth companies. Veturi Venture Accelerator provides seed funding, strategic guidance and hands-on participation.
Prior to Veturi, I was co-founder of Trema, where I was responsible for marketing and communications. Trema (today: Wall Street Systems) is the global leader in software solutions for central banks and corporate treasuries of Fortune 500 companies. At the time of my exit in 2004, Trema had USD 50 million in revenues and over 300 employees in nine offices globally, with clients like the European Central Bank, GE Capital, and Unilever.
In addition to marketing and business development, I have been involved in:

• Recruiting
• Numerous funding rounds
• IPO preparations
• Mergers & acquisitions
• Due diligence processes.
So far, I have lived and worked in: Helsinki, Finland; south of France; Boston, USA; Stockholm, Sweden; London, UK; Geneva, Switzerland; Bangkok, Thailand. I have more than 15 years of daily working experience with 50+ different nationalities and cultures.
