About Maria Lopez

PhD. María López (female) is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bit&Brain Technologies and accumulates 14 years of professional experience, of which 5 related to the design and implementation of the Business Strategy of the company. She has a wide international business network. PhD. López is a PhD-MSc from the University of Zaragoza as well as an MBA from the IE Business School (ranked among the best business schools in the world by Forbes and Financial Times). She has been an invited researcher at the Iowa State University (USA), at the Freiburg University (Germany), and lecturer in 15+ institutions related to marketing and business such as IE, ESIC and ESADE Business Schools, AEDEMO, Universitat de Barcelona, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad de Granada, etc. She has executed neuromarketing studies for 30+ brands such as L’oréal, La Caixa, Moltex, etc; and raised funds for research and development in 15+ projects from public entities such as the European Commission and the Spanish Ministry of Science. She has 10+ research publications and 3 patents in the areas of neuroscience, computational complexity and learning theory. She has received 20+ international awards such as the Google Anita Borg prize, the Iberoamerican Award to the Innovation and Entrepreneurship, CBC Interactive prize, and the International Entrepreneur Award of Everis Fundation. Recently she has been included on the 16th position of the 100 economic leaders in the future in Spain by the Choiseul Institute. She has been a speaker in 100+ events related to business and market research such Neuromarketing World Forum, IIeX Global Series, Inspiration Day, Startup Spain, CXMeeting, or BeMarketing Day. Her work has been covered by national and international media (Science magazine, BBC, The Economist, etc.).
