Hi! My name is Darío but everyone calls me Cuiki so go ahead and feel free and join the trend. For those of you wondering, no, there is no English origin behind my nickname. I run a digital product design and development firm called Empathia backed with 15 years experience designing and delivering digital products and services that millions of people around the world use every day across browser, desktop and mobile platforms. I am a huge UX advocate and believe it's the responsibility of every single team member involved in what we do. Whether it's designers, engineers, managers, strategists, marketers or business specialists. My work experience spans from digital marketing projects for major brands such as Nike, Gatorade, Squalo and Brown-Forman to digital product design for small startups like Voxfeed, Storify (now owned by Livefyre), TokBox (now owned by Telefónica) and major companies like Yahoo!, LinkedIn, Ebay, Livefyre and Telefónica. From early 2009 until June 2014 I joined and became Executive Creative Director and Principal at Freshout. A boutique agency specialized in digital product design from where we rolled out successful products like Breezi, Recordit and Placeit.
