Biótica, Bioquímica Analítica, S.L. is an innovating technology based company (ITBC), which develops fast techniques for the microbiological detection and quantification, based on the combination of molecules recognition, like the antibodies, with advanced nanomaterials, like paramagnetic particles. Biotica borns in 2004 with four young scientists from the biotechnology research field. Their project is supported by the Technological and Industrial Development Center (CDTI) through the program Neotec, in 2005. Furthermore the Institute for Small and Medium Valencian Enterprises IMPIVA), in their program “Creating Technology-Based Firms”. Biotica Bioquimica Analítica SL is formed by an interdisciplinary team of young scientists supported by the science and technology system and venture capital, which has succeeded in developing a disruptive product. Biotica is the first biotechnology firm located in the Science, Technology and Business Park of Jaime I University in Castellon de la Plana, España. It has the best facilities for research, development and the production of innovative techniques, along with real scenarios to design the test products ( living lab), with the direct participation of the end user. It delivers products with an endgame vision which are the result of applying intensive know-how.
