Sobre Newchip
The Newchip Accelerator was created in 2016, with the goal of giving people at any stage in their startup in any corner of the world access to the knowledge and people that they need to be successful. The vast majority of startup accelerator programs only cater to those who are in the major venture capital hubs of America, and Newchip finally gave everyone else a chance.
Newchip’s other goal was to create an Accelerator that did not take equity from its companies. It can be very risky for early-stage startups to immediately give away 5-10% of their company to an accelerator, which is why Newchip’s programs are completely equity-free. Newchip’s Accelerator also gives its companies access to startup resources worth over $450k.
Newchip has three different programs, each of which are for different stages of the fundraising process. The Pre-Accelerator Program’s focus is to raise funding to build a minimum viable product (MVP). The Pre-Seed Accelerator focuses on raising funding and revenue up to $1 million. The Seed & Series A Accelerator focuses on raising funding and revenue to $10 million.

- Our portfolio has raised capital from anywhere between $100K to $5M+. What matters most to us is the team and traction, but we focus on startups that haven’t already raised a significant Series A round from VC’s ($10M+).
- We write term sheets, lead rounds, and invest up to $250,000 into qualifying companies that graduate our program, meet our KPI, and pass our due diligence. We’re agnostic on the stage so long as you haven’t raised a major Series A (over $10M in overall funding), you are qualified for our accelerator.
