Sobre Javier Rivera
I graduated in Economics from Universidad Carlos III in Madrid. During my degree, I studied abroad for one year at Washington University in St.Louis (MO) and another six months in Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium).
After working in the credit risk department at HSBC, I won a scholarship from the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) to complete an MBA and work hands-on international business development projects. This took me to Chile, where I worked for the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office helping Spanish companies internationalize to South American markets.
In 2014 I landed in Boston, where I work in business development for Efron Group - an IT consulting company - and Dat Venture - a new accelerator program helping Spanish startups expand into the US
