Michael is experienced technology entrepreneur and executive involved in building leading-edged, rapid-growth technology start-ups and as well as creation of innovation divisions within enterprises. In a career that spans more than 30 years, Michael has been involved in the start-up of six technology-focused companies and the revitalization of several other organizations. Recognized as a visionary who sees over the horizon, Michael is sought out for his ability identify value creation opportunities where technology meets people and his ability to operationalize an organization to capture that value.
Positions he has held include CTO of Aspen, LLC a start-up ASP delivering ERP and CRM solution, VP, Technical Operation for Digex, then the largest and fastest growing internet hosting company. He also held several senior executive positions within Thomson Financial Publishing which included the founding of two new leading-edge technology companies within the corporate portfolio, and was a founding executive to Windward Technology Solutions which delivered large-scale technology management solutions.
In 2004, Michael and his two business partners founded LeverPoint, LLC providing a unique approach to integrating off-shore software engineers into rapid software product innovation and delivery. After a successful merger in 2009, he stayed with the combined entity until joining The Daily Telegraph in London as part of a digital transformation “SWATT Team” to kick start their Digital Transformation effort.
