An SPV where the consortium partners will become shareholders based on their product/investment contribution, with sweat equity (includes our friends in respective countries), for marketing and distribution of world class pharmaceutical products and equipment in Africa, by tapping into government and private sector pharma requirements.
Access various distributors and suppliers and tie up with them. Procure as many government orders and also tie up with hospitals.
Eventually establish a manufacturing base in one or more African countries.
Sweat equity: Partners will become shareholders based on their product/investment contribution with sweat equity for Iha consulting (includes our friends in respective countries).
Countries: Ghana, Malawi, Gabon, Cameroon, Tanzania, Botswana, South Africa, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Egypt
Partners: Dubai based company, Iha consulting services, Hyderabad, India, Pharma companies in Africa, Distributors in Africa, pharma manufacturers and suppliers in India
Role of African Partners: providing network of suppliers and distributors, providing space and infrastructure, support to slowly establish manufacturing base or ware houses in one or two locations in Africa, Procure orders from government and corporate, getting products registered in different countries,ground network & marketing
Export base: have an export base in Dubai to avail tax benefits and slowly enter into the market around
Strategy: Once we are operational in one or two countries, we can then buy a dormant listed company either in India or UK and reverse merge the SPV into that so that the shareholding becomes marketable and will allow the SPV to tap into public funds.
Strengths:
- We have partnerswho are pre-qualified suppliers to the Ministry of Health in different African countries
- Some suppliers have already signed up with us who have registered their medicines registered in other countries and they can give any molecule or drug. We are procuring orders for them
- There are also companies seeking registration with other countries (we are signing up with more such companies)
- Companies having retail and wholesale business in Africa for about 15 years and maintaining a very good supply chain management and ware housing set up to handle goods in larger quantities are our partners in Africa.
- Our partners have own office and spacious ware houses located with territory reps and dealers.
- Our partners have been supplying to Government, Private and non-governmental institutions acrossAfrica, having wide coverage in terms of reach, supply and customer base.
- Regulatory and Overseas Business- They can help to manage all regulatory needs with the local licensing authority and ministry of health. There is a registered pharmacist who is taking care of all aspects of regulatory affairs.
- Distributors in other African countries- We are signing up with different distributors in Africa for business.
- Sourcing orders from Government and Private sector- Our partners havewholesale distributors’ source and supply Pharmaceutical, surgical and medical equipment who are Pre-qualified supplier to the CMST (Central Medical Stores Trust) of Ministry of Health.
- We are on the lookout for synergy with potential business partners in the field of Pharmaceutical formulations, surgical materials and medical equipment.
- SPV can work as their business partners to import, register, store and distribute products in Africa
