Sobre Marcia Buhler

Marcia Buhler is Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, a Certified Peaceful Parenting Coach, and she is a member of the Psychologists' Association of Alberta. She completed a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. She began providing counselling with children and parents more than 20 years ago. Her counselling approach is guided by attachment theory and the neurobiological underpinnings of connection. This is an evidence-based model that helps us understand how important relationships, especially the parent-child relationship, lays the groundwork for human development and healthy functioning across various domains of life. In addition to my clinical practice, she has provided clinical education for 13 years to Addiction and Mental Health staff within Alberta Health Services (AHS).
