Riptron Ltd is a startup with the main aim of commercializing a revolutionary new approach to using graphene for sensing applications. The patented technology allows the fabrication of suspended graphene and embed this within a conventional microelectronics architecture. The fabricated chips have several competitive advantages not only compared to other graphene devices, but also against commercial devices based on conventional and mature sensing materials like e.g. MOx. A prototype gas sensor with specificity to Formaldehyde has been demonstrated. However, the technology has many applications not restricted to gas sensing but also biosensing. While the Company is open to licensing agreements with OEMs willing to incorporate the patented architecture within their existing sensing devices, we are as a pre seed investment stage company, looking for investors ready to take this revolutionary technology directly to market. Our business and go to market plan is well developed and ready to create opportunities in untapped markets, like personal air quality sensors to be used as a mobile phone attachment.
