Salute was co-founded by EHS experts at Weill Cornell and Fitzroy Health. A recognized leader in Environment of Care and risk management, Weill Cornell developed a technology solution that powered their program internally and that Salute has upgraded into a fully cloud-based system.
This new information management platform, Canopy, empowers EHS professionals to gather, maintain, and utilize data to reduce risk exposure across the physical footprint of an institution. Canopy provides inventory, assessment, reporting, and analytic capabilities that drive cost savings by replacing costly and outdated systems of record (home-grown, excel, pen/paper), improving team efficiency (task management), reducing spend from avoidable injuries (workers comp), and minimizing regulatory risk exposure (fines and penalties). Canopy has powered Weill Cornell’s industry leading EHS department for more than 10 years and delivered significant savings on staff time, violations, and workers comp.
Salute provides best practices via templates within Canopy and through our advisory services that have been developed by recognized leaders in EHS and Environment of Care. Advisory services include targeted risk assessments, interim staffing, audit support, and access to knowledge experts. Our services provide our customers much more affordable access to a highly-skilled pooled resource to assist with staffing during peak periods (audits), enabling superior performance management and benchmarking.
