Smart Destination has worked with Palladium Hotel Group for introduce this summer its first project: the Smart V.I.B (Very Important Bracelet), smart wristbands so guests can do everything from one device. The V.I.B kit will be available to those staying at the new Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza and Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel. The innovative V.I.Bs give guests the peace of mind of not having to carry money or worry about displacing their room keys. Guests will be able to easily open their rooms, access different establishments around the hotel, pay for any product using an assigned PIN code and enjoy many discounts at on-site facilities. The bracelets are programmed to ensure that guests’ information is protected during their stay. This innovative project shows the present and future of customer relationship management (CRM) in hospitality and taking it a step further as “wearable technology” containing radiolocation systems and radio-frequency identification to personalize the experience and to anticipate tailored services each tourist. The bracelets are coded according to customer preferences ranging from room admission, “express checkout,” access to guest’s Facebook and Twitter profiles for picture and content sharing, as well as payments with a PIN account or via credit card. For those looking for a red carpet treatment, there are three special packages such as the “USHUAÏA CLUBBER PACK” which includes 10 drinks, access to the VIP lounge and a special breakfast, at a much lower price than usual. The project also introduce in the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and the new Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza 20 totems with 42’ interactive screens where guests with Smart V.I.B can digitally “post” all of their photos, check day and evening activities planned in all the hotel areas and interact with multimedia content to enhance their experience.
