Sobre Alvaro Moya

Simply put, I am a techie passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation. Hard worker, smart and fast learner, I love travelling, adventure sports and collecting experiences everyday. I enjoy my time 24/7. I specialized in software development after studying Telecommunications Engineering and MBA. I was awarded as best student of my year, after hitting Top 50 tech students in Madrid between 2005 and 2009. I was also awarded as one of Top 10 professionals among UC3M students between 2011 and 2014. I founded my first startup at 20. TusClases.es was focused on science private tutoring services for teenagers. Later on, as CTO and co-founder of an ag-tech startup and WeFitter, I helped the companies growing up and stablishing in the market, winning some innovation awards and getting funded by EU funds, Technogym holding and 500 startups, among others. After 3 years in insurtech, first as CTO @ i-surance, later as VP of Engineering @ wefox, the largest and fastest-growing insurtech in Europe, I am now creating the ultimate training for CTOs, lidr.es. I am private investor and advisor specialized in high-growth tech startups and innovation. My portfolio includes companies like Frontity, Upplication, Sharing Academy or WeFitter. Total investment received among them has been more than 2.5M€. Specialties: CTO, tech strategy, digital product consultancy, agile, lean, 9 years full-stack development.
