SOSV is a US fund that invests annually $50M in technology companies from seed stage up to growth stage. It has a portfolio of more than 500 companies managing $300M of assets with a net return of more than 30% (net IRR). They articulate their investments through specialized accelerators on these verticals: HAX (hardware), IndieBio (biotechnology), Chinaccelerator (software), Food-X, and MOX (mobile applications). The admission rate to these accelerators is less than 5%. Some companies in their portfolio are Leap Motion, acquired by Apple, or Melon, acquired by Daqri. It is currently one of the 3 most active funds worldwide along with 500 Startups and Y-Combinator. SOSV is not only a tech investment fund, it is also a network of mentors (+600) who continuously offer their experience and network to the investees
