About Francesc Riverola

Francesc Riverola es fundador de FXStreet.com. Nació en Palo Alto, California, y creció y se formó en Barcelona. Licenciado en Económicas por la Universitat de Barcelona, ha cursado el PDD (Management Development Program) en IESE Business School. Lanzó FXStreet a principios de 2000 cuando trabajaba como e-Research Manager en el e-Business Center de PwC&IESE. FXStreet consiguió hacerse un hueco en el mundo de las finanzas internacionales a base de trabajo, dedicación y entusiasmo y actualmente está considerado como el portal de referencia a nivel mundial en el mundo de las divisas (Forex o Foreign Exchange). Francesc ejerció de CEO de FXStreet desde sus inicios hasta septiembre de 2012. Hoy día es el Presidente de la compañía, trabajo que combina con la participación en diversos proyectos relacionados con el entorno emprendedor. Así, es Business Angel en startups como Kantox, Playfulbet, Holded, MyBrana, Qubitia Solutions o Apartum, y forma parte activa del venture de capital catalan Lanta Digital Ventures.

  • Who: entrepreneurs that are different from the rest, that are great professionals and even greater people. People that excite us, with whom we have a great understanding and we’re willing to have a long-term relationship.
  • At what stage: when companies have a product in the market. It can be B2C, B2B, B2B2C… but we need some kind of early metrics. We don’t invest in powerpoints.
  • How much: we invest from €25,000 to a maximum of €100,000 in our first investments.
