The ownership of this website belongs to Startupxplore PSFP SL, a participatory financing service platform authorized and supervised by the CNMV, a platform that allows online investment in technology-based startups with the rigor and solidity of a Venture Capital; we reinvent the Business Angel figure and simplify the process for investors and startups (hereinafter collectively and indistinctly referred to as "Startupxplore", "we", "our" or "us").
We consider the privacy of individuals, whether investors or entrepreneurs, as well as visitors to our website https://startupxplore.com and any other domains owned by Startupxplore related to this website (hereinafter, the "Platform"), as well as any other affected parties who provide us with information through the same, whose data is processed by Startupxplore as part of the provision of services (hereinafter collectively, "you" or the "user" and in the plural form, "you" or the "users"). In this regard, Startupxplore is committed to processing your data in accordance with the applicable personal data protection regulations. Specifically, Startupxplore will comply with the premises established in REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter, the "GDPR") and any other applicable related regulations in force at any given time.
Based on this, Startupxplore informs about its Privacy Policy, in order to make users aware of the processing of their data, as well as the fundamental principles of personal data protection that it applies.
In connection with the above, we urge all users to carefully read this Privacy Policy in order to be informed about the rules and practices we have developed to protect personal data and to better understand our relationships with third parties who may have access to such data.
In any case, the user is solely responsible for the information provided on the Platform and if in the future Startupxplore wishes to use it for purposes other than those referred to, we will inform you of these new purposes and request your consent, if necessary.
The user guarantees that the information provided to Startupxplore is truthful and updated and undertakes to communicate any change of circumstances that may affect their condition. Likewise, the user guarantees that they have the relevant authorization to communicate third-party information and that they have informed them about the processing of personal data by Startupxplore for the purposes related to our services.
1.- Who is responsible for the processing?

2.- What are the data protection rights of users?
Users can request the following rights:
- Right to request access to personal data: you can ask Startupxplore if this company is processing your data, and if so, access them.
- Right to request rectification if the data is inaccurate, or complete the data we have incomplete.
- Right to request the deletion of your data.
- Right to request the limitation of their processing: in this case, we will only keep them for the exercise or defense of claims.
- Right to object to the processing: Startupxplore will stop processing personal data, except for legitimate reasons or for the exercise or defense of possible claims.
- Right to data portability in case the user wants their data to be processed by another data controller, Startupxplore will facilitate the transfer of their data to the new controller.
- Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing of personal data.
If you have given consent for a specific purpose, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.
In any case, when the user exercises their right to delete, all personal data linked to their account, as well as the information and content that are integrated into their profile will be deleted. Likewise, if the user exercises the right to delete the data necessary for Startupxplore to provide the Platform's services, Startupxplore will be forced to terminate its relationship with the user, proceeding to unsubscribe them, without the right to any claim by the user.
To exercise their rights, users must send a written communication to the registered office of Startupxplore or to the email address indicated in section 1 of this Privacy Policy, including in both cases a photocopy of their ID card or other equivalent identification document.
3.- How can you file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency?
You can use the models and forms on the rights referred to in the previous point by going to the official website of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Complaint to the Supervisory Authority: If you consider that Startupxplore is processing your personal data inappropriately, you can direct your complaints to Startupxplore or to the corresponding Supervisory Authority. In Spain, you must contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
4.- In what cases do we collect your personal data and what type are they?
Based on this Privacy Policy, "personal data" is considered: any information that identifies you or can be used to identify you, such as your name, address, phone number, or email address.

5.- How do we use the personal data of users?
Startupxplore informs the users to whom it applies that the personal data provided and collected will be identified in the Register of Treatment Activities owned by Startupxplore, being used for the purpose of:
- Registering a user by creating an account when registering as an investor or entrepreneur on Startupxplore.
- Providing our services in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and/or contract established between Startupxplore and each of the users.
- Allowing access to options that require registration (e.g., sending CVs or job applications, profile options, activating personalized alerts).
- Responding to inquiries or requests for information that users may make.
- If the user has checked the corresponding box for this purpose, keeping you informed through notifications via email and/or other electronic means, the content of which will mainly concern the services and products of our partners, related to sectors such as nautical, automotive, textile and footwear, publishing, banking and finance, car rental, hospitality, tourism, and leisure travel (booking trips and tour packages), cosmetics and personal hygiene, food, consumer goods, technology (companies focused on creating smartphone applications for consumers), and Non-Governmental Organizations. The content of these notifications will be selected by Startupxplore and sent directly by us.
- If the user has checked the corresponding boxes for this purpose, sending push notifications related to our services and products.
6.- Why do we process your personal data?
Startupxplore may process your personal data based on any of the following legal bases:
- (A) Legitimate business purposes;
- (B) As necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party;
- (C) As necessary to comply with legal and regulatory obligations that Startupxplore must apply;
- (D) When you have given your consent.
7.- Who will have access to your personal data?

8.- Provision of Startupxplore services
Regarding the personal data that Startupxplore may access on behalf of a third party (data controller) for the provision of services to them on the Platform, on behalf of third parties, Startupxplore undertakes to process them in accordance with the applicable regulations in force. Specifically to:
- i) Process them only according to the instructions of the data controller;
- ii) Not use them for purposes other than the provision of services;
- iii) Not communicate them to third parties, not even for storage;
- iv) Implement the security measures required by the regulations on systems in which they are integrated to ensure their confidentiality and prevent their loss or unauthorized access.
9.- Where are your personal data processed?
Startupxplore is a national company based in Spain. Startupxplore will not carry out transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In the event that such transfers are made, Startupxplore would do so in compliance with applicable personal data protection laws. Regardless of where your personal data is collected or processed, Startupxplore ensures and guarantees that service providers maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information.

The professionals working at Startupxplore who have any involvement in the services provided to the user are committed to not disclosing or using the information they have accessed. The information provided by the user will, in any case, be considered confidential and cannot be used for purposes other than those related to the management linked to the user's account and the services contracted from Startupxplore, if applicable. In this regard, we undertake not to disclose or reveal information about the user's requests, the information requested, or the duration of their relationship with them.
13.- Social media
Startupxplore is present on some of the main social networks on the Internet, where it acts as the data controller concerning the personal data published by Startupxplore.
Startupxplore will process personal data on each social network according to the rules established for this purpose by each of them. Therefore, unless otherwise stated, from Startupxplore we may inform our followers on the corresponding social network about our activities, events, and other related topics, including follower service, through the channels that the social network provides for this purpose.
Startupxplore will not extract personal data from social networks unless the user gives us their express consent.
14.- Special category of personal data
We will not collect or process any especially sensitive personal data or data included in the special category of personal data of users, unless they have explicitly provided them to us. Special categories of personal data refer to information related to race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, genetic data, biometric data for the exclusive purpose of identifying a natural person, health data, sexual life, or sexual orientation.
15.- Child use policy
The Platform is not designed or directed at children under sixteen (16) years of age, without the authorization of parents or legal guardians. In this regard, we do not knowingly collect information from such persons. 16.- Direct marketing

Please note that even if you decide not to subscribe or unsubscribe from promotional or newsletter emails, we may still need to contact you regarding important non-commercial information, such as troubleshooting, inactivity or low usage, error detection and prevention, or in general to comply with the Legal Notice and operation of the Platform.

Startupxplore integrates the content of various classified ads websites into our Platform and directs quality traffic to their ads. We are also capable of generating additional traffic by promoting the right ad to the right user at the right time through our native advertising products.
In this regard, we use automated decision-making processes, including profiling, when you have explicitly authorized us to do so. In that case, we will inform you about the logic used in the decision, as well as the significance and anticipated consequences of such processing for you.

On the Platform, there are links to other websites, applications, or platforms of any kind that we consider potentially useful and informative for you. However, please note that we do not endorse or recommend the content or services of these, nor are we responsible for their privacy policies and terms of use. In this regard, we recommend that you consider and read the privacy policies of all the sites you visit. Remember that what is stated in this Privacy Policy only applies to the personal data collected and/or processed by Startupxplore.
19.- Modifications and integrity of our Privacy Policy
