My work has to do with applying the latest advances in neuroscience to develop new architectural approaches for developing Artificial Intelligence, saving the gap between narrow AI and general AI.
Collaterally, I'm exploring the opportunities of my research to develop transdisciplinary contents and training protocols that will improve creativity and innovation, decission making, Learning Agility, resilience, leadership and emotional balance of both, individuals and organizations.
Since 2005 I have carried out a deep research in neuroscience, exploring the capabilities of the human brain and the relationship between emotional phenomena and attention, cognition and consciousness. As a result of this research, I have developed two parallel and complementary working approaches:
In the applied track, and as CEO of THE MINDKIND, I provide training and consulting services for the development of people and work teams in organizations. Also, I am co-director of the "University Expert in Leadership and Work Teams" and proffesor in the MBA in "Lifestyle Companies" both in the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). In addition, and also within the applied approach, I use these same scientific advances in my work as a coach and trainer, to teach people, at a particular level, how to use nature as a powerful tool that allows them to face emotional challenges and develop their Resilience.
The other path is centered on scientific research, continuing the line already begun in 2005 in affective neuroscience and developing new lines of research in , Artificial Intelligence AI, neuroeconomics and mathematical models to explain numerous biological phenomena and individual and social behaviors.
My hobbies are:
Scientific dissemination. I am a founding member of the association "Benasque ConCiencia", where I conduct interviews with leading scientists worldwide on topics as varied as cosmology, quantum computation or genetics, among many others.
Mountaineering, mainly in the Benasque Valley, where I find the space, time and conditions to carry out a large part of my intellectual exploration.
