Understanding the investment opportunity

GameSquare is a marketplace for buying and selling gaming products and collectibles that lets you know who wants to buy all the products you have at home and sell them instantly.

GameSquare's value proposition is its technology, which allows you to register the demand for any product on the marketplace.

  • Users can upload their products and sell them directly to interested people, without having to chat, negotiate or leave their homes.
  • This system allows the current value of any product to be known in real time, facilitating instant transactions and creating a price alert system for buyers.

The founding team has created a marketplace where users will be able to digitise their entire collection of gaming and collectible products (without the need to upload them to the application, as a checklist), allowing them to discover their market value instantly thanks to the recorded demand data.

Finally, in the coming months, it plans to launch a first B2B pilot, based on internal demand data, to provide analytics services to the companies it works with (video games, collectibles and second-hand shops), as well as other prominent companies in the gaming/geek sector. They have identified a pain in deciding which products to buy and which not to buy (continued poor decision making leads to their closure).

GameSquare aims to help them better manage their trading stock by providing crucial market information to help them make decisions, revealing the demand for a certain product and its history within the platform.
