Sangría Republic is a Spanish company created by an experienced team with sectorial success stories behind them, such as Albariño Paco & Lola with sales in more than 23 countries, which seeks to renew through innovation a drink that is part of our heritage, adapting it to new consumer trends.
We have developed and patented new flavors and our own recipes: Legally in Europe a drink can only be called Sangria if it is produced in Spain or Portugal, which protects us in a very large market.
Since our passage through the accelerator VIAGALICIA, one of only 10 selected multisectoral projects, and despite the COVID environment, we have managed to sell more than 100,000 units of product and close 2020 in positive, reaching national implementation in EL CORTE INGLÉS and more recently with GLOVO MARKET and LOGISTA, as well as international presence in Sainsbury's in Uk or Gopuff in USA.
We have recently closed an investment round, with the entry of an experienced international lead investor, XESGALICIA SCR Xunta de Galicia and VIGOACTIVO SCR of the Zona Franca. In addition, ENISA has just granted us a loan of 250,000 €, which confirms the validity of the model, recognizing our proposal to change the landscape of the Spanish Sangria, a category with a market value of + 400M € and with an export percentage of 65%. Thus providing us with the necessary resources to develop our plan.
We approached Startupxplore because our continuous innovation has given us access to a new category, achieving for the first time a wine + energy product. We have managed to develop the first COLD BREW SANGRIA, a packable product with production costs that will make it competitive in the market.
This product will allow us to enter a new category in expansion, the COLD BREW market, currently valued only in the USA in 370M USD and with an expected annual growth of 31%, which has allowed us to incorporate Dave McCarthy, former CCO Global Export Molson Coors, as an investor in this round and to our Board.

TEAM. Experienced, with a success story behind them and having already worked together, they know the way perfectly well and are completely complementary.
REAL INNOVATION. We have patents that protect our recipes from the competition. We have developed new flavors such as the first Pink Sangria on the market with Yuzu, Hibiscus Flower and Vanilla or our re-interpretation of gin and tonic. Our Sangria with Pink Grapefruit, Juniper and Tonic. Finally the COLD BREW is going even further, creating a wine product with the natural energy of a coffee.
RECOGNIZED INNOVATION. Recently AMAZON itself called us from London to offer us to participate in their LAUNCHPAD program, for those really innovative products; which will allow us to count on their support and collaboration to expand markets and to be able to make special campaigns within the platform.
MARKET PRESENCE. We already have a national presence in El Corte Inglés, we have opened GLOVO and LOGISTA, that only in Spain, and we have international experience in markets such as the UK with our presence in Sainsbury's or in the USA with Go-Puff, not including the distribution options that we are in talks to increase our presence in channels and countries.

MARKET SIZE AND TRENDS. In terms of turnover, only Cold Brew is higher than 370M, but if we talk about Ready to drink cocktails it is 714M, both are growths higher than 12%.
