About Edgar Chandre
3 years ago I joined the Barca Academy (in partnership with BCN Sports) project in Canada as a Country Manager. Since then we built up several soccer Academies running the whole year with HHRR teams in each city (total of 6 cities). We also held Camps, International experiences and massive Events (+1000 people) that were enjoyed by more than 15.000 players.
I also built a strategic plan to introduce and stablish the position of BCN Sports in the Canadian market as a new brand.
BCN Sports (Canada), due to Covid pandemic, was forced to shut down the operations and I managed the closing of the company as the Country Manager. After analyzing the strategic plan, the financials, the market and the contingency plan, as well as the uncertainty due to the Covid situation, I decided along with the Shareholders the closure of the company in Canada.
This has given me the experience to manage HHRR teams and stakeholders in a limit situation trying to find always the best solution.
