About Iván Navalón Garijo
I hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and completed a Master’s in Solar and Hydrogen Energy at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, where I was honored with an academic excellence award and the European prize for the Best Thesis Contributing to the Achievement of the SDGs. In that thesis, I designed a small-scale hydrogen generation system, which marked the beginning of my specialization in this technology.
Subsequently, I deepened my expertise in the hydrogen field through a specialized course in Hydrogen Technologies offered by ARIEMA and the Spanish Hydrogen Association. For four years, I worked as a product development engineer in multinational companies such as Airbus Helicopter and Embention. Later on, I took on the role of CTO at a startup focused on plastic recirculation.
My strong interest in innovation and sustainability led me to found Hydros Power, where I currently serve as co-CEO and Chief Technology Officer, fully committed to driving the green hydrogen revolution.
