About Ricardo Teixeira Soares
39 year old Born in Africa, things work differently to what it does in Europe. Studying IT to working in sales to ending up working in Angola managing warehouses and transportation.
Being based in Cape Town, I working in the fishing industry and a Vessel Fleet Manager for over 10 years on land and at sea. I took pride in my job as I was able to help less fortunate people give them new opportunities in live and show them a better path. I was sent to Angola in 2013 to build and Manage warehouses and again i was able to create work and put food on the table for many families. myself, together with my team we were able to ease the congestion in the commercial and fishing ports of the capital city with a simple and easy solution.
during this time i had the privilege of being part of a similar online platform business as what i am currently creating. the company based in South africa started as a startup which is now on its 6th year with over 14 000 trucks and +300 customers on its platform.
i wish to be able to structure this business where we (Cargoffer) will be able to find a solution to the current road transport problems, ease the congestion, save money for those and better the lives of all.
i consider myself and a commented hard working individual that feels good when i am able to make a difference in people.
