About Intertakt

Intertakt is an interval timer for HIIT, Tabata and rounds that treats sound as the primary interface. Nothing that moves fast in the dark does it by looking: bats course-correct on echoes, and a mid-set athlete is much the same — hands full, eyes elsewhere, no attention left for a screen. A clear voice announces each interval and the halfway mark; countdown beeps ride over the user's own playlist, with independent volumes for music, voice and cues. From the first beep the phone can lie face-down with the display off and the session keeps time on Do Not Disturb; an incoming call or app switch costs nothing — the round resumes from the exact second it stopped. The model is deliberately short: 0 ads, ∞ sessions, 0 accounts on the free tier. Premium adds unlimited custom plans, session history and JSON export as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Built with Flutter, offline-first. Coming soon to Google Play; the waitlist and founding pricing are open at intertakt.com.
