About Kapitan

Kapitan Bar&restaurant is one of the few, if not ONLY, authentic Ukrainian-Russian restaurants in Singapore and you can be sure that you can be immersed in the distinctive cultural experience that we have to offer, from our food to the ambience and service. Kapitan is the brainchild of Russian-Ukrainian owners, Vadim Zoubovski and his wife, Alena Zubovska. Missing the comforting taste of their grandmothers’ home cooked Slavic dishes, they began preparing Slavic dishes with the very same recipes they grew up on. Well-received by both Slavs and Singaporeans alike, their cosy restaurant at Maxwell Chambers is an attestation of their passion and commitment to offering traditional Slavic dishes for all.
