About Rugs and Beyond

Rugs and Beyond is an Award-Winning Ecommerce start-up selling "One of a Kind" handmade rugs and carpets to customers worldwide, while empowering local weavers and artisans in Rural India. It is an aggregator between local artisans and end customers and also undertakes custom orders as per client specifications. Awards & Facilitation's: Rugs and Beyond has been awarded for being the "Most Creative Disruptor in the Ecommerce Industry" in 2016 by Facebook and ShethePeople. It has also been facilitated for being the "Most Innovative E-tailer in the Industry" by Entrepreneur in 2017. Recently, Ms. Sakshi Talwar, Co-Founder was invited by IIM-S to speak on Entrepreneurship and was also invited by ISTIC-UNESCO to deliver a speech on Women in Technology in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ms. Talwar was also listed as "One of the Top 8 Women disrupting the Tech Industry" by Your Story in 2018. In early 2018, Ms. Talwar was leading a delegation of Women Entrepreneurs in conjunction between the Indian and the US Government with engagements at World Bank, Harvard, State Government etc.
