About Wigwaum Limited
Wigwaum is now at the prototype stage and has over twenty people on the team. We were incorporated as a limited company in September 2019.
Wigwaum will change the landscape of social media forever, by being the world’s first safest and most secure social media platform, one that has been developed around a set of key principles and values: Trust, Honesty, Integrity, Transparency, Humility, Safety and Accountability - a complete paradigm shift in social media.
The App has been built with absolute security from the outset, which is not the way any other social media platform has been built and the fully functional prototype is complete, so it’s a reality, not a vision.
Every user will be taken through a revolutionary and cutting edge bio-metric verification process which quickly and simply compares data with the person's facial characteristics to their personal ID (usually a passport or driving licence), to determine a true and accurate resemblance. This will be available in over 50 countries.
Once the users identity is verified, there can be no hiding behind false profiles, also known as catfishing, just total transparency, each user knowing that all other Wigwaum uses are who they say they are.
On the Wigwaum App, there will be No advertising, No selling of the users personal data, No way to spread disinformation or fake news, it cannot be used for political manipulation and is free from predators, scams and deviants.
Meaning that all members of the Wigwaum community will be safe in the knowledge that their personal and private data will NEVER be sold.
We are the first App to offer the user a real and tangible safe and secure social media option with the same options as Facebook, WhatsApp, Gmail, Instagram, Match, Tinder, Skype, Linkedin etc, all within one App.
Wigwaum will also have similar services to the likes of airbnb, carsharing apps, couch surfing, only with the added security of each party knowing that the other party has gone through the bio-metric authentication process.
Wigwaum will be the first social media site to cover the whole work/life harmony spectrum on one safe and secure App. It does this by being formed into four autonomous sections, LIFE, WORK, LOVE and WELLNESS and users can access all four sections, or just the ones that suit their specific needs.
The simplicity of having all four sections within one App, means that the user doesn’t have to have a phone full of Apps with different log-ins, and lots of space being used unnecessarily. Wigwaum has it covered, it’s simple, safe and secure.
Wigwaum gives the user the freedom to choose and pay as little as just £1 per month for the section/s that suit their personal requirements. Becoming life-time members from the outset, means that the user can access any of the sections as their life’s needs require.
All downloaded imagery we will be subject to a multi-stage image verification process, that will consist of a computerised and human monitoring system that will check all images before they are allowed on the site. This will ensure that there will be no obscene or offensive images ever uploaded.
The Wigwaum App will have three significant features;
UMail which is a full email facility that will compete directly with Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail etc, but the main difference is that it will be safe and secure unlike its competitors.
UChat which is text to text, voice to text, text to voice, video text and video chat. We also plan to add additional language translation options very soon.
UView which is a safe and secure cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, chat, and webinars across all 4 sections.
