RawData is an agrotech specializing in digital solutions with artificial intelligence to ensure sustainability in agriculture.
Founded in 2018 in Barcelona, it was created with the aim of accelerating digitalization and its benefits for agri-food companies.
The origin of the company comes from the use of artificial intelligence models for crop prediction in a Master's thesis on Big Data by the 2 founders, David Olmo and Albert Duaigües. Both founders come from farming families, so they are linked to the agri-food sector since their origins.
At the end of 2020 RawData launches the first version of the modular all-in-one solution for medium and large companies and/or organizations operating in high-value crops (mainly horticulture, viticulture, nuts, and olives). This solution is oriented to the agronomic and personnel departments, which are the departments that are not normally digitized through the ERP.
At RawData we identified the opportunity represented by the lack of an integrated solution aimed at complementing the ERPs, which usually provide value to the financial and accounting, commercial and legal departments, but not to the agronomic and HR areas.
RawData, therefore, offers a centralized all-in-one modular digital solution, with 4 major blocks: AgroData, Sustainability, HR, and predictions.
These modules make it possible to solve problems in the sector that are currently being solved with a mix of decentralized digital and non-digital solutions, which is a serious economic and efficiency problem for the sector.
The objective is to capture the client by solving their most urgent digitalisation challenge, in order to subsequently increase the services consumed by the client with cross-selling strategies.
Currently, they already have clients in 5 countries and 3 continents, with the key being the 100% digital onboarding process, which does not require physical travel to the client's facilities.
